U.S. House Representative, Illinois’ 16th District

Adam Kinzinger is a U.S. Representative for Illinois’ 16th Congressional District. He is currently serving his sixth term in the House and is a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and the House Foreign Affairs Committee. He was also appointed to serve on the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol.

During his time in Congress, Kinzinger has worked tirelessly for the people of Illinois and for the security of our nation. From getting veterans back to work to combating the opioid epidemic, Congressman Kinzinger has continuously fought for his constituents and his country. His mission has always been the defense of our democracy, upholding his oath of office and standing up for truth — no matter what.

Prior to being elected to Congress, Kinzinger served in the Air Force in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He continues to serve his country as a lieutenant colonel in the Air National Guard.

While the Congressman will not be running for re-election in the House next year, he will continue to be a servant leader for the American people through his Country First movement, which he founded shortly after the insurrection on January 6, 2021. Kinzinger will continue his fight for truth by working to break the political matrix and defeat toxic tribalism across the political spectrum. Through Country First, Kinzinger leads the way for others who feel politically homeless to join together to find proven solutions that put the interests of the country over those of any one political party.
